*Normoblast- Smaller cell (8-12u), acidophilic (pink) cytoplasm, small, shrunken, pyknotic nucleus (arrow).

*Mature Erythrocytes- (7-8u). Remember - these cells serve as natural "micrometers" in other tissue sections.
