Light MS, Liver, Trypan blue injection, 40x lens, (#39)
Lysosomes (Lys) can be detected at the LM level in some cells by
allowing the cells to phagocytose a particulate dye. Secondary
lysosomes in the highly phagocytic Kupffer cells of the liver are
demonstrated in this slide as trypan blue containing structures
within the cytoplasm of some of the cells that line the sinusoidal
spaces.
