DCAHSL President's Message for 2007

Dear DCAHSL members,

Thanks to the persistence and dedication of our members, 2007 has been a rewarding year. We have

• enhanced our skills and knowledge through excellent programs

• explored collaborative opportunities for community outreach

• developed a survey to explore member’s interests in our future goals, and

• received word that a GO Local project for the District of Columbia has been approved.

DCAHSL members have long supported, and worked for, the achievement of this GO Local project. When it is up and running, Healthy DC – GO Local will be a great resource for our District of Columbia community. As health sciences information professionals and organizations, it is with great excitement and sense of purpose that we look forward to contributing to the success of this project.

In closing, I would like to thank all of you for your assistance and support during my year as President of DCAHSL. It is your dedication and participation that makes any organization a success, so thank you for this successful year.
