The Validation test

The Validation test is given once a year on campus during New Student Orientation and is required for the following cases:

	Students who seek AP credit for Spanish but have not taken the SAT II*.
	Students who want to place out of the College language requirement without taking fall semester courses and have not taken the SAT II*.

* If you have taken the SAT II you do not need to validate the results. In this case, the AP credit or the fulfillment of the College language requirement, are applied automatically. However, if you feel that your SAT II score does not reflect your current language ability you are encouraged to take the Validation Test.
