Information for Students Accepted to the Program

Congratulations on your acceptance to the Georgetown
Complementary and Alternative Medicine, MS Program
!

We look forward to meeting you and working with you in the upcoming year. To ease your transition to Georgetown and Washington, DC, this page contains valuable information to answer many of the questions you probably have regarding your upcoming move and the upcoming year. Please use these pages as a resource, but do not hesitate to call should additional questions arise. Again, we look forward to meeting you in August, and Good Luck!

Start of Classes

Orientation for Fall 2013 (Class of 2014), August 23, 2013

Classes for the Complementary and Alternative Medicine MS in Physiology Program students begin on August 28, 2013. Your individual course schedule will be set during orientation.

Please visit the BGE webpage for more details on orientation schedule.

AMCAS and the MCAT

Some of our applicants have the goal of attending medical school upon completion of this program. If you have not taken, or need to retake the MCAT, please do so in August before coming to the program, or wait until next August. We do not recommend taking the April MCAT, because of the courseload. There will be time during orientation to meet with a faculty advisor to discuss questions about your application, and the support you will receive from the Program.
