Students of SLA at Georgetown

Graduate students of Second Language Acquisition at Georgetown University contribute actively to the field in several ways. They are known for:

• Conducting high-quality research
• Contributing to the dissemination of research findings through giving conference presentations
• Publishing their work in top-tier research journals
• Sharing their expertise by teaching at DC-area universities while still in school
• Working at research organizations, such as the Center for Applied Linguistics

• Helping to organize the Georgetown University Round Table on Languages and Linguistics (GURT) and the Georgetonw Linguistics Society (GLS) conference
• Obtaining tenure-track professorships at top institutions
