A concentration in Studio Art (Drawing-Printmaking, Painting, Sculpture and Digital Art-Photography) consists of eleven courses; ten courses in the studio discipline and one course in art history. ARTS-110 (Drawing I), ARTS-001 (Design, A Visual Foundation), and ARTS-499 (Senior Project Seminar) are required. In addition, seven other studio art classes depending on a major's area of concentration (see above), and one art history class are required to complete the studio art major.

A Studio Art major's specific course requirements depend on their area of concentration (See Required Courses below). Studio Art majors have the option of taking a second art history course in place of one of their studio art electives with permission of the department. All Studio Art major's are required to take the one credit Senior Project course during the spring semester of their senior year in order to produce a portfolio of work reflecting the student's capabilities in their declared area of concentration.

5 Painting area courses
( includes Drawing II, Painting I, II, II; Acrylic Painting, Watercolor, Portrait Painting, and Landscape Painting.)
2 Studio Art Electives ( or 1 Studio Art and 1 Art History with department permission )
1 Senior Project

Studio Art :Sculpture

(31 hours; 11 courses)
1 Design
1 Drawing I
1 Art History (Renaissance to Modern, or Modern)
5 Three-Dimensional courses ( includes 3-D Design, Sculpture I, II, and Directed Studies in Sculpture II, III, and IV.)
2 Studio Art Electives ( or 1 Studio Art and 1 Art History with department permission )
1 Senior Project

Studio Art :Digital Art/Photography
(31 hours; 11 courses)
1 Design
1 Drawing I
1 Art History (Renaissance to Modern, or Modern)
5 Digital Art and /or Photography courses ( includes Photography I, II, III; Digital Art I, II, III; Digital Photography
and Computer Assisted Printmaking,.)
