Friday Music is a free concert series that takes place every Friday in McNeir Hall. With music ranging from Tin Pan Alley standards to Baroque string music, Jazz and Pop, there truly is something for everyone.

The Post Classical Ensemble
The Georgetown University Music Program welcomes our newest educational partner, the celebrated Post Classical Ensemble (PCE), to the hilltop. Together, PCE and Georgetown will co-present several unique performances featuring GU student musicians including the musical history saga The Mexican Odyssey, Copland and the Cold War, The Voice of Mexico choral concert and the conference “Mexico's Cultural Borders: Past and Present.”

American Opera Theatre
The Department of Performing Arts welcomes American Opera Theater (AOT) for the second year of their 3-year residency at Georgetown University.
In January, 2009 AOT will present Hydrogen Jukebox (1990), a chamber opera featuring the music of Philip Glass and the poetry of Allen Ginsberg. In July, 2009, AOT concludes its season with a production of G.F. Handel’s beloved Acis and Galatea (1718).
