Net proceeds to benefit the launch of the GEMA Scholarship Initiative, in which GEMA will grant scholarships to students pursuing majors in music and theatre in Georgetown's recently established Department of Performing Arts.

Special Opening night show for GU Students ONLY! The evening includes: Bill Danoff (I’68)("Afternoon Delight," "Take Me Home Country Roads"); Greta Gaines (C’89) supporting her brand new Alt Country release, “Whiskey Thoughts” (Justice Records); Walter Egan (C’70) ("Magnet & Steel,” "Hot Summer Nights"); Michael Pearsall (B’06)& Evan Field (L’98) of Honor By August (“Into The Light,” “Only In Photographs”).

Hosted by VH1 VJ Alison Becker (C’99)("Law and Order: SVU").

Other performers, ranging from Georgetown classes of 1970 to 2011, include Rich Battista (B’86) (GEMA founder), Kirsten Thien (B’93), Drew Brody (F’01), Stella Clingmon (F’10), Johnny Zambetti (B’09) (Shwayze & Whitestarr), Lance Langston (F’82), Gary Kearns (F’79), Richard Trent (F’10), Chris Ferrone (F’80), Holly Bryce (C’09), Joe Wenger (Grad ’04), John Zambetti Sr. (C’70) (Malibooz, Sageworth & Drums, Johnny Z Band) and Teddy Zambetti (C’80)(GEMA ROCKS founder, Groundlings Theater, Sirius Satellite Radio).

GU Students: $7
(Sept 25 show ONLY. Must have valid GU ID to pick up tickets. For those students who can't make opening night, they can come to the other two shows, but must pay $30.)

Young Alumni, Students, GU Faculty and Staff: $30 (This Special Young Alumni rate are for graduates from the classes of 2003-2008 only.)

General Admission & GU Alumni: $55

* Please be advised that book bags or other carrying bags of any sort will not be allowed inside the Gonda Theatre. Please help us keep the Gonda Theatre a fun and clean place for all those who will be attending GEMA Rocks! and all the events scheduled this year, by strictly observing the "no food or drinks allowed" policy while inside the theatre. Patron bags may be subject to search so best to leave it at home!

*Please be aware that patrons arriving more than 15 minutes after start of the show are not guaranteed a seat.
