New Employees

Newly hired benefits-eligible faculty, staff, and academic administrative professionals ("AAPs") must attend a Benefits Orientation session. These sessions are held every Tuesday at 9am on the ground floor of  Healy Hall for Main Campus. We also conduct Benefits Orientation sessions every other Monday at 10am at the Law Center. The location of the sessions at the Law Center changes depending on room availability. Please contact the Payroll Services office at the Law Center to determine the room for your scheduled Benefits Orientation Session. They can be reached 202-662-9045.
 
If the University is closed on a scheduled Benefits Orientation session date (due to a holiday or inclement weather), the next session will occur at the next scheduled time.

Newly hired faculty, staff, and AAPs will normally be contacted by their hiring manager for Benefits Orientation scheduling. If you have not been scheduled for a Benefits Orientation, please contact your hiring manager, who will coordinate the scheduling process with the Human Resources Department.

  • Call us at 202-687-2500 during our normal business hours (8:30 am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday). 
  • Come by our offices located on the ground floor of Healy Hall (8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday).
