Student Loan Entrance Counseling is required of all students who are borrowing a Federal Stafford Loan for the first time
at Georgetown University. This federal requirement ensures that students are aware of their borrowing rights and responsibilities before they enter into the loan obligation. Loan proceeds cannot be disbursed to students until they have completed Student Loan Entrance Counseling. This session takes
approximately 30 minutes to complete.
