Federal Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan

Step 1: Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

Step 2: After receiving your financial aid award notification, please accept, decline, or reduce your award as necessary.

Step 3: First time Direct Subsidized/Unsubsidized Loan borrowers, must complete the online Entrance Counseling. Previous federal loan borrowers may skip this step. 

Step 4: Complete the electronic Master Promissory Note with the Department of Education.
