An average Cost of Attendance budget is used by the GU Office of Student Financial Services to determine a student's eligibility for need-based and other types of financial aid.  A breakdown of the average Cost of Attendance budget for the COL, MSB and SFS is listed below.

1Direct expenses are charged to a student's billing account with Georgetown University.  Indirect expenses are average costs that a student may pay out of pocket.

2If a student enrolls for less than twelve credit hours in any semester, their average cost of attendance budget will be revised to reflect the actual cost of their revised enrollment and their eligibility for student financial aid will be recalculated.

3The cost of a room varies depending on dormitory assignment; the board allowance is based on the cost of the 14 meal plan.

For students living locally with parents, the board allowance is $2,204 and the allowance for personal expenses is $1,328.
