Application Requirements and Refunds


 


In order for your Federal Direct loans to disburse, including the Graduate Plus Loan, there are certain requirements that must be met.

1). Students must file a FAFSA

2). Students must also file the Georgetown University Graduate  Supplement Form

3). Students must accept the offered loans via their "my access"

4). Students must complete a Master Promissory Note for the Subsidized/Unsubsidized and the Graduate Plus loan

5). Students must complete the Entrance Counseling for both the Subsidized/Unsubsidized loans and the Graduate Plus Loan

Note:
Students who are applying for the Graduate Plus Loan must also complete the credit check function

6). Students must be registered for at least half time which is 5 credit hours for this particular program

If all of these requirements are met, loan funding will disburse one week prior to the start of the term. 

Refunds:  Refunds will be made available on the first day of classes if all requirements are met.  Students must apply for refunds from the Student Accounts Office.

Please Note: Any change in your enrollment may affect your eligibility for financial aid.  You should contact us if you end up dropping courses.
