The co-chairs of the Diversity Action Council are Marjory Blumenthal, Associate Provost, and Deanna Y. Cooke, Research Director in the Center for Social Justice Research, Teaching and Service. There are a number of ways for you to get involved in the Diversity Action Council. First, explore the list of involvement opportunities for suggested ways to participate. You could become a member of the DAC, work with us on a single event like those listed below, or join our e-mail list. We encourage each member of the Georgetown community to be involved in whatever way is most comfortable. Additionally, The Leadership in Education about Diversity program is looking for activists. Learn more about the DAC by reading copies of the meeting minutes and past and current editions of our newsletter. The Diversity Action Council works with faculty, staff, and students to better understand the Georgetown Community. Pursuant to this mission, the Assessment Committee has prepared several reports and summaries. |
